We are a charity working across Bolton and our aim is to empower young people to reach their full potential. We are different from other youth clubs because we take a relationship based approach to deliver a wide range of activities.
Our sessions include:
- Employability Workshops
- Development of Entrepreneurial Skills
- Individual Support & Mentor's
- Drop-in Sessions
A huge programme of activities for young people aged 11 -18 (up to 25 for those with special needs). Choose from sports, after school clubs, one to one support and much much more.
First and foremost our programme of activities is designed and planned to be fun and enjoyable. Over and above this however, we work to ensure that we also support the personal development of the young people who take part.
We are always looking for people to help us with the vital fundraising which keeps Zac’s “going and growing”. You could host a coffee morning or dinner party or maybe climb Kilimanjaro or run a marathon. Why not use your skills or take on a challenge and fulfil an ambition to help us raise funds
We do all we can to generate our own funds and to work as cost effectively as possible but with increasing demand and decreasing support any contribution you can give will both, help us make a difference and gratefully received.
Why not consider being part of the answer! If you are local could you volunteer, even an hour per month. We don’t just need people to work with the young people but also those who can help with practical tasks, driving, cooking etc.
Each year we give up to 8 people the chance to be part of the team at Zac’s, working across all of our activities, gaining invaluable experience. As well as making a difference to the young people, participants will benefit from free accommodation, free local bus travel, a weekly allowance and a comprehensive training package.
For my latest fundraising challenge I took on the “Tough Mudder”, a hardcore 12 mile-long obstacle course designed…
