Friday Bar Nites

For: Those of Secondary School Age (years 7-13, age 11-18)

Our Friday night Bar Nights are often the first point of contact with many young poeple. Our location makes it easy for those out on a Friday to drop-in and take a look.

Often loud, the bar is a hive of activity, with young people taking advantage of the facilities on offer, these inlcude; pool, table football, air hockey, dance mats, board games, quizzes, MCing, Djing and some craft activties. We also have a resident DJ who plays every fortnight and is very popular with the young people. Evenings also feature a chill-out time where the young people are invited to learn more about the staff teams beliefs, sing songs and if they wish request prayer. The bar serves our famous non-alcoholic cocktails, as well as a selection of soft drinks, confectionary and hot snacks.

Central to the evenings success is the safe, friendly environment that staff have worked hard to create. Staff make it their aim to ensure that each young person that attends feels that they are welcome, are in a safe protective environment, and are given the chance to build relationships with positive role models. Young people are also encouraged to give their opinions on new activities and facilities they would like to see incorporated into sessions.
