
After finishing her GCSE's in 2005, Kim looked for volunteering opportunities along side those with special needs in order to help her in her studies and to gain valuable experience and new skills. She volunteered at Zac's as a Buddy during and then in 2006 applied for a sessional staff position whhich she got.
Whilst studying for her A-levels Kim contiued to work as a sessional member of staff in our special needs sessions, but also volunteered at our Friday Bar Nighhts and mainstream holiday sessions.
In 2008 Kim started a Teaching Degree, she continued working and volunteering at Zac's and in 2009 took up the post of Assistant Special Needs Coordinator which she does alongside her studies.
In her spare time Kim enjoys dancing, socialising, reading and shopping.
